Edinburgh Car Services – Your Local Garage In Edinburgh EDINBURGH CAR SERVICES was set up by owner Ryan McKiernan in 2011, initially as a mobile mechanic service. Having completed a full, professional apprenticeship, Ryan worked on heavy goods vehicles and was an AA patrolman for several years before deciding to go into business because he could see there was a need for quality independent garage services in Edinburgh.

Such was the success of his mobile venture, in 2014 he moved into his current premises on Bankhead Terrace, allowing him to offer a much wider range of services. Now run alongside his wife Nicky, Ryan and his team at EDINBURGH CAR SERVICES can now look after all your motoring needs, from tyres and that crucial wheel alignment to performance upgrades and major repairs. Everything in between is also covered, including MOTs and servicing that conforms with all manufacturers’ warranty specifications.

Like Ryan, the staff at EDINBURGH CAR SERVICES are all dealership trained, from the likes of Renault, Mercedes and Volkswagen, giving the independent garage an overall ability to carry out repairs that would normally be the domain of main dealers only. EDINBURGH CAR SERVICES also has main dealer diagnostic equipment capable of reprogramming many different modules on numerous different makes and models.

As an independent family business, Ryan, Nicky and the team pride themselves on quality of service. Call or pop by with your car-related query and you will be greeted by friendly staff, both male and female, who will be happy to help and advise. If a repair or service needs doing, it will be carried out with pride to the highest standard, for an honest price.

All car work is carried out by experienced fully qualified and insured technicians. Most car parts carry a minimum guarantee of 12 months or 12,000 miles (excludes normal wear and tear).
